1.When you can use sick-child daycare

We can accept your child when he/she has been examined by a physician and is deemed fit for group daycare. (Acute illness from which child is expected to recover quickly)
【Guidelines for condition and symptoms】

(1)
Illness with fever up to about 38.5 degrees
(2) A recovery period for pertussis, measles, mumps, rubella, chickenpox, Keratoconjunctivitis, pool fever, rotavirus, acute ear parotitis, hand-foot-and-mouth disease (See "When you cannot use sick-child daycare")
(3)
Acute upper respiratory illness, such as minor runny nose and cough
(4) Acute gastrointestinal symptoms, such as minor vomiting and diarrhea

※If the maximum number of children has been exceeded, or if other children have a communicable disease, it may not be possible to accept the child.

2.When you cannot use sick-child daycare

We cannot accept your child when he/she has been examined by a physician and is deemed unfit for group daycare.
【Guidelines for condition and symptoms】

(1)
(1) Highly contagious illnesses (Type 2 School communicable diseases*1, rotavirus, norovirus, etc.) where there is a risk of infection of other children*2
(2) Continuing fever of over 38.5 degrees
(3)
Severe vomiting, severe diarrhea, and dehydration (dry lips, tongues and skin, sticky mucus, listless and tired, etc.)
(4) Severe coughing, severe wheezing, and breathing difficulties
(5) Little appetite, unable to drink and eat
(6) Child is under medical care, like a drip
(7) Sever illness requiring immediate hospitalization
(8) Currently in treatment for a refractory illness
(9) Currently on immunosuppressants in a state of significantly decreased immune function
(10) Easily infected with a high risk of severe illness once infected
(11) Frequent epileptic seizures
*1 Type 2 school communicable diseases
  Influenza, pertussis, measles, mumps, rubella, chickenpox, pharyngoconjunctival fever,
tuberculosis, meningococcal meningitis
 
*2 Communicable diseases exempt from the acceptance criteria and permissions standards
  ・Influenza(permitted if 3 days have elapsed after the fever has subsided)
・Pertussis (permitted if the characteristic cough has ceased or after 5 days of the appropriate antibiotic)
・Measles(permitted if 3 days have elapsed after the fever has ceased)
・Mumps (permitted if 5 days has elapsed after the swelling of the parotid gland, submaxillary gland,
 and sublingual glands started, and if the overall bodily condition is good)
・Rubella (permitted if the rash has ceased)
・Chicken pox(permitted if all rashes have crusted)
・Pharyngoconjunctival fever (permitted 2 days after the primary symptoms have ceased)
・Mycoplasma infection (permitted 2 days after the fever has ceased and the symptoms have improved)
・RS virus infection (permitted if 2 days have elapsed after the fever has subsided)
・Streptococcus infection (permitted 2 days after the start of a course of effective internal Streptococcus infection (permitted 2 days after the start of a course of effective internal biotic)
・Adenovirus infection (permitted after the fever has ceased)
・Herpangina (permitted after the fever has ceased)
・Hand-foot-and-mouth disease (permitted if the rash and blisters have ceased)
・Rotavirus/norovirus (permitted if a physician deems the child fit for group daycare)
・Meningococcal meningitis (until a doctor, based on the symptoms, deems this child to have no risk of infection)
* The phrase "fever has ceased", as a rule, means that the temperature has decreased to less than 38 ℃.
